Michael Bay confirms Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Transformers 3

Director Michael Bay has confirmed reports that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will play the lead role in Transformers 3.

A message was posted on the filmmaker’s official website confirming the recent reports that the British model will be taking over from Megan Fox as the lead star in the series.

A statement said: "I would like for all you S4TE fans to welcome Rosie Huntington Whitely to the world of Transformers.

"As some of you might know, she’s the new female lead in Transformers 3.

"She’s worked with Michael before in his Victoria’s Secret ‘A Thousand Fantasies’ ad."

Huntington-Whiteley’s PR company also confirmed the news on their Twitter page.

Yes, she auctioned herself off on Ebay. Well, not herself exactly, but Scarlett Johansson did auction off a date with herself for charity.

The lucky winner spent a cool $40,100 for a night out with the celeb. The money will go to Oxfam America. The winner will get a date with her to the August premier of her upcoming movie He’s Just Not That Into You.
